The last in the Berkshires series (for now, anyway), this painting is based on/inspired by my 4×4 mini study, Clouds over a Fall Landscape. I wanted to capture the dark mood of the shadowy skies during our drive home, juxtaposed with the warm, fall colors we were seeing everywhere else.
